About font family
Introducing TT Lakes Neue, version 2.000! We have updated this advanced font by expanding its character set, enhancing its technical component, and refining its visual features.
TT Lakes Neue is a closed geometric sans serif with rounded rectangular forms and slightly vertically stretched proportions. The initial idea of this font was conceived in Priozersk, known as the Finnish town Käkisalmi before World War II. In a local museum, we saw a peculiar plaque with the former name of the train station name. The text from this plaque marked the foundation of the future font family.
TT Lakes Neue, version 2.000, became calmer and more versatile due to our removing some display details from the core character set glyphs. However, new stylistic sets allow designers to transform the mood of this clean-looking sans serif, giving it more expressiveness. A variable font included in the typeface features three axes of variation: width, weight, and slant. The updated version now also includes alternate forms for all the types of the number «1» and letters «Мм,» «Дд,» and «Лл.» Additionally, we introduced technological stylistic sets that make the font look sleek and vivid.
The update significantly amplified the typeface’s application range. So, TT Lakes Neue is an excellent fit for the gaming industry, as it will blend seamlessly into game interfaces across various genres. Technological sets can be used in architectural projects, in headlines of posters and magazines, and on building facades. Besides, this font will shine in logo design and branding.

- 91 font styles: 9 roman and 9 italic in each subfamily and one variable font;
