Introducing the updated TT Severs version 2.000! We’ve added new features, glyphs, and languages, as well as a variable style.
TT Severs is a humanist sans serif with an open character and distinctive elements. A defining feature of this font is the unusual shape of the internal ovals, whose junctions allude to a calligraphic basis.
TT Severs is a “two-in-one” typeface. At large point sizes, the font reveals its details and works beautifully as a display font, adding character to logos and headlines. At the same time, at small point sizes or in running text, the peculiarities of the rounded corners fade into the background, and the font is highly legible—thanks in part to the low contrast between vertical and horizontal strokes, as well as the meticulously thought-out logic of the black-and-white balance in the character design.
The typeface features standard and discretionary ligatures, including experimental ligatures for Cyrillic. Additionally, TT Severs can be made softer using stylistic alternates. In the updated version, you will find even more OpenType features and stylistic sets, plus a variable font that changes along the weight and slant axes. We also added new languages and service glyphs. Specifically, we added minuscule mathematical symbols and expanded the Latin set. We also improved the technical components of the font—kerning and hinting have been completely updated.
TT Severs is a versatile font that can be used in its various styles for a wide range of tasks. It will fit perfectly into designs related to technology, computer games, sports, and other sectors.
TT Severs 2.000 includes:
- 19 styles: 9 uprights, 9 italics, and 1 variable font
- 720 glyphs per style
- 27 OpenType features
- Support for over 180 languages
