The TT Regins font family belongs to the Neoclassical (Modern) serifs, in whose skeleton the traditional "pointed pen" is discernible. Although such fonts became wide- spread in the 19th century, they are still actively used in contemporary design. The typical application for this typeface is in cultural institutions: branding for education- al institutions, the visual identity of museums and exhibitions, and the design of galleries. The characteristic features of the TT Regins family are high stroke contrast, enlarged lowercase characters, and hypertrophied serifs. Introducing the new TT Regins—a font with a royal character!

TT Regins is a Scottish modern serif. Striking contrast and sharp triangular serifs give this font a stern and commanding character, while refined forms, enlarged lowercase letters, and slightly condensed, static proportions add grace to its design.

TT Regins includes three subfamilies with varying degrees of contrast: Display, Text, and the intermediate Subhead. In the Display subfamily, designed for large inscriptions, the contrast is most pronounced, and the character is expressed most vividly. In Text, the contrast is muted for improved readability, ensuring the font works flawlessly in running text. Subhead can be used for accents and headlines. Each style is optimized for comfortable use within its corresponding point size range: the optical size axis allows for adapting the contrast and the degree of design.

We paid special attention to the cursive italics, which are striking and dynamic. They are slanted at 14° and stand out clearly in text due to their ‘true italic’ forms. The serifs at the top remain sharp, while those at the bottom become semi-rounded—this creates an effect of gliding and unified motion within the text.

TT Regins includes stylistic sets that can be used to make the font’s character smoother. The typeface’s capabilities are also expanded by two variable fonts for working with different weights and optical sizes in the upright and italic styles. We’ve also added an atmospheric, themed set of icons featuring chess and playing cards.

TT Regins is highly versatile and functional: different styles can be used for different tasks, creating font pairs within a typeface.
