Telefonica is\u00a0one of\u00a0the largest raditional and mobile phone companies in\u00a0the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company was completely happy with the font and they only wanted to\u00a0make one change! However, this <a href=\"https:\/\/typetype.org\/fr\/custom-fonts\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/typetype.org\/fr\/custom-fonts\/\">customization<\/a> affected many characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Telefonica wanted to&nbsp;change the appearance of&nbsp;all the dots and change their shape from square to&nbsp;round<\/strong>, eventually getting a&nbsp;customized version of&nbsp;the font with a&nbsp;new name. The TypeType designers got to&nbsp;work. All characters and letters suitable for customization were selected, and next <strong>a&nbsp;round dot was added to&nbsp;each glyph<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1440\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/typetype.org\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/TT-Hoves-for-Telefonica.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12132\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Changing shape of&nbsp;dots from square to&nbsp;round<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The customized characters were <a href=\"https:\/\/typetype.org\/fr\/hinting\/\">hinted<\/a> and then the font file was named Telefonica Sans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The custom version of&nbsp;TT&nbsp;Hoves called <strong>Telefonica Sans<\/strong> is&nbsp;now more user-friendly.
